Instagrammin

 

A few pictures taken lately on Instagram. My ace new boots, leather chips, our dog, new limited edition neon pieces, the changing leaves at our house, new palettes of painted jewellery hangers and Dunc busy making a table for a friend.

This week so far

Just thought I'd share a couple of pics from what has been happening in the studio this week. I've been having some fun painting blocks in poppy palettes for some new jewellery hangers (available here) along with lots of workshop time, cutting, drilling and sanding. Today is vessel waxing and spot painting day!

Brush Marks

Old scan i found of brush marks on the side of a watercolour I'd done. Perhaps nicer than the finished product :)

Macrame Workshop

It is lovely to be home and having a slower paced day than the past 20 or so which were hectic in the lead up to Finders Keepers. Thanks to all who came to say hello! A few of you were interested and asking about my macrame workshop at Harvest in a fortnight (Sunday 6th May). Collection to date

A couple of weeks ago Olga Bennett photographed my collection as it stands to date. I am not sure I will ever release an annual or bi-annual collection as I prefer to work more organically (and think it might be too stressful). Perhaps I will, never say never.

I have new tubular scarves that are soft to touch made from reclaimed fabrics, spotty beads and necklaces and new pyrographed and hand-painted jewellery hangers and necklaces.
