Stampel Textiles!
I have been working on lots of textile designs lately and hope to have some new textile products finished by the end of May ready for Markit, in Melbourne's Fed Square on Sunday the 26th May! Exciting times. I've been really enjoying working with this medium again. There have been lots of advances with printing since I last did my research (and got disheartened!) with vegetable dyes becoming more commonly used and accessibility to a larger range of natural fibers (organic hemp's and cotton's) domestically. Times are a changin'. Stay tuned :)

Hello again!
It's been so long since I've done a blog post! I have never been great at it. I am actually just loving Pinterest and Instagram as sharing platforms right now. To break the drought I thought I'd share 3 great things I'm drooling over today. This Chair. This Weaving and this Watercolour.
I think it might be time for me to get a new website!

The Big Design Market!
So, we will be here this weekend! The line-up of designers is ace and I think I'll be walking away with a few purchases/ presents myself. I thought I'd share a few pics of things I'll have at my stall. Lots of new colour surf spray vessels, spotty necklaces, speckly new earrings, lots of macrame hangers with hand painted pots AND some hand dyed silk scarves, they're pretty special.

Nathalie Du Pasquier
I remember seeing Nathalie Du Pasquier's prints, and memphis Furniture pieces whilst studying different movements at Uni and thinking they were pretty sweet. Since my husband gave me some gorgeous gifts wrapped in her printed hankies for my birthday, I've fallen in love. After the Christmas madness (which presently has me sanding timber and painting lots of spots!) I am putting my heart back into textile design for a little bit to see what I come up with.
Even her website layout is raw and inspiring. Love it all. All images via
